The 3000M Lake Diffuser System is a sub-surface aeration kit built for larger ponds and lakes, effectively aerating areas up to 3,000m² (around ¾ acre) at depths of up to 3 metres.
The system works by pumping air from a land-based, shore-mounted AP30000 air pump through a valved brass manifold, then out via 30m runs of weighted ½" airline to four high-volume, self-sinking diffusers, delivering powerful oxygenation and water circulation throughout the lake or pond.

Description
As air is pumped into the diffuser assemblies, it forms masses of fine bubbles that gradually release oxygen into the water as they rise to the surface. This creates an oxygen-rich environment that supports beneficial aerobic bacteria, circulates the water, and helps reduce stagnation and algae growth. The rising bubbles also help prevent thermal stratification (temperature layering), keeping the whole water column healthier.
The 3000M Lake Diffuser System includes:
- 1 x AP30000 Pond Aeration Pump
- 1 x 4-Way Brass Valved Manifold Kit
- 4 x 30m lengths of ½" ID weighted airline
- 8mm to ½" hose adaptors and 8mm weighted stub hoses
- 3 x self-sinking, high-volume diffuser assemblies
Note: Diffusers require ballast (such as sand, stones, or shingle) to sink correctly — not supplied.
The included 30m airline lengths can be extended as needed using additional 30m Weighted Airline and ½" hose connectors.
For best results, we recommend pairing this system with ByoFix Lake Bacteria – 1kg to boost and maintain beneficial aerobic bacteria levels alongside aeration.
